A photograph and its story



The image I chose makes me remember my childhood. When I was raised with a lot of love by my family until my brother was born and then my cousins. I was always my grandparent's favorite and my uncle's too. Even after the others were born I could swear I was still everybodys favorite. I am the little girl in the picture and the other girl is my cousin. She was my best friend and my confident, we were raised together, infact she was more than a cousin to me she was like a sister.

I chose this foto with her because she represents a great part of my childhood. I miss her very much, as we grew up we went our seperate ways, each one forming her own family. We no longer live together, we no longer tell each other everything. The distance between as has made sure of this. But the love I feel for her and the memories like this precious image will always remain. Like she says i will always be her little beast and she will be an example i can follow. I would never change the childhood I lived with her and my family.

I really hope my daughter has someone special she can trust. This type of relationships are so important, you never feel alone in life because there is always someone willing to listen.

What are some of your favourite hobbies / pastimes? I have quite a few hobbies and pastimes but i must admit the ones i prefer are reading and watching movies. This doesnt make me an antisocial person or this doesnt mean i like to run away from my reality i guess i just love fiction.  My favorite authors are Agatha cristie and stephen king when it comes down to chosing suspense. Both authors are very different to each other, they have a unique style of writing but i find they keep me hanging on to the very end. I have quite a collection of their books, my favorite thriller by agatha cristie has to be 'murder on the midnight express'. I love the way she doesnt let on to the murderer until the very last. Its brilliant when one of her detectives starts suspecting of one of the characters and you follow every lead he does. Why I decided to study architecture! This is a   complicated question for me to answer, do I like this career? During my life prior to university I asked myself on many ocasions what i wanted to do with my future or what i wanted to be, there was a time I wanted to be a doctor then i   didnt want to do anything, to tell the truth i had a dificult time deciding on what I wanted to study. I have always liked to read so this played a big role in my decisión, I gave teaching a lot of thought, becoming a lawyer was also an interesting option. One week before the applications I realized I have always liked drawing and history of different countries and I had to choose a career which would allow me to include both of these. What's your favourite TV show / film?

One of my past times is watching movies and reading, both are clearly related. The best movies are those   that interpret books, many of them the creation of great authors. One of my principal rules is to watch the film after Reading the book, this   is because I find it truly thrilling to imagine the characters, their physical aspects and their surroundings. Their psicologial trates are easier to get to know and in movies these details are very difficult to show as the autor would have them portrayed. For example there are small details but not less important that are not shown in movies, one of these and the first that comes to mind is the color of Harry Potter’s eyes, one of the firts books I read and one of the first films I watched. the boy in the movie has blue eyes and his mother’s are brown. In the book, however, this detail stomts out when the shape and color of his eyes are mentioned relating them to one of the physical aspects he has inherited from his mother ...
